How our identity as God's loved children establishes and sustains in our mission w/RON OHST

Our Vision – for people everywhere to know and worship God in all His Glory and goodness.

Our mission – to build growing communities of worshipers who are becoming like Christ, empowered to do His work.

1). Being Before Doing-

Matthew 3:16-17 / Romans 8:14-16, 29 / Ephesians 3:14-29 / I John 4:19

“This is my Son, whom I love” - identity and security

“with him I am well pleased” - approval, “the Father’s smile”

-To fulfill our mandate to join Jesus in building his church, we must make the experiential knowledge of God’s love the ongoing priority of our lives.

2). The Father’s Tender Love for Us-

Psalms 103:13-14 / John 5:19-20 / John 16:26-28 / 1 John 3:1

3). Love, Joy, Fruitfulness-

John 15:8-11

-Being comes before doing - “We are human beings not human doings”

Our identity as God the Father’s loved children, and as children who love our “abba, Father”, joyfully establishes us in our mission, joyfully sustains in our mission, and joyfully empowers us in our mission. Let us remain in his Love!
