S2 Ep5 ”Unmasked and Breaking Chains” with Guest Dr. Sherron Carrion

On this episode, Dr. Sherron Carrion, widely known as Dr. C., joins Anika Apple as her special guest. Dr. C. is a futurist, kingdom strategist, and catalyst for change. Renowned for empowering people to fulfill their purpose, her impact is evident in the lives of her husband and children, as well as in her numerous leadership roles. She is a divine voice, God's prophet, and leads a special international ministry called The Marketplace Maven's Movement.

Dr. C. shares her healing journey, starting with the challenges and traumas of her childhood. She emphasizes the importance of education, which has become a lifelong pursuit for her. She also discusses the trauma experienced by Black people in America through the slave trade and the ongoing, cyclical trauma present in some aspects of contemporary religion. For the first time publicly, she shares the depth of God's calling on her life, highlighting the required spotlight and excavation for people to see religion in the way God desires. Throughout the conversation, Dr. C. emphasizes the importance of discipline and obedience. She also talks about The Marketplace Mavens Movement's international expansion.
