The Gospel Value of Clean and Unclean

We take for granted that we have been liberated from the dietary codes of the Law under the new covenant of grace, but we don’t often think about what that liberation means. By looking at the New Testament passages that teach our freedom from these laws, we see that our liberation from the dietary codes is meant to demonstrate that the nations are welcome at God’s table and that our cleanness in Christ produces a sanctified heart in genuine holiness.
