You Can Only Serve One Master

A homily for the twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C), by Father Darrin Connall: Through our Baptism, we entered into a commitment of exclusive service to our Lord and God. However, many times we find ourselves trying to split our commitment between multiple “masters.” We remember that there is only one master, God, who leads us to life; all else leads to emptiness.
