The Supermarket Sleuth

CHECKOUT: Around the negotiating table

2021-03-25

This chapter explains the process that suppliers have to go through to sell a product to a supermarket to get it on shelf. There are two systems in New Zealand, one for Foodstuffs, the co-operative, and another for the Countdown chain store owned by Woolworths New Zealand Group. The group also has two franchise stores so the selling-in to these is done by a separate buying group.
