Over the last 6 months Founder of Kiddimoto and returning guest of the show Simon Booth has been implementing techniques from the Lunch with Norm podcast. In this episode, we are conducting our very own Lunch with Norm case study. Simon shares with us the guests he has reached out to and the action steps he's taken from listening to the podcast. Simon talks about the stresses sellers go through including the set up, hurdles, milestones he has reached. We’ll continue to follow along with him over the course of the year. Simon Booth created the balance bike category 18 years ago and enjoyed being the only competitor on the planet for a few years, selling mostly to independent retailers and white labeling for motorcycle brands. Simon went on Dragons’ Den UK in 2011 and exposed the product to the world. That opened the door to all the major big-box retailers, like Toys R Us, etc. Simon even met the Queen in 2015 for an award for International trade. The Prince’s children, David Beckham’s kids and a whole list of celebs kids have grown up with Kiddimoto products. In between all of this, he attempts to home school his 10 and 13 year old kids.
