Mid-Session 2 Dec 19: Bright start to summer for ASX

The Aussie market is lifting after a subdued start to the new week, month and season. The ASX 200 is roughly 0.5% higher towards lunch and is just shy of fresh record highs hit late last week. Gains are quite broad based with only the resource sectors in the red while financials and health names lead improvements.
