MATTHEW 5:17-18 GOD SAID IT AND HE MEANT IT, DO YOU BELIEVE IT?

The phrase "For assuredly, I say to you”, "truly I say to you", "I tell you the truth" or “Amen, Amen” depending on your translation means what Jesus is about to say is very important. Jesus says that even the smallest letter or piece of the Old Testament writings will not go away until He has fulfilled all that He plans to do in the future. Jesus was implying by this that all Scripture is inspired of God (God Breathed) and are His very words written down for us to live by. When He says inspired He means down to the very letters used, not just the words. Jesus quoted the Old Testament frequently and so confirmed the truth written there. When God says something, you can be sure He meant it and He says every word of Scripture is there for our benefit. Read it every day to be given wisdom and understanding.

Matthew 5:17-18 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
