Cochlear Limited’s (COH) Full Year Result 16 August 19: Full year result beats expectations

Hearing implant maker Cochlear (COH) has reported a net profit (NPAT) of $276.7m, up 13%, or up 11% when adjusting for currency movements (constant currency or cc). The result includes a $10.8 million benefit as a result of favourable investment revaluations. Removing the impact of the revaluations, or in underlying terms, NPAT rose 7% (+6% cc) to $265.9 million.
