We begin the annual observance of Holy Week with the celebration of Palm Sunday and the reading of the account of the Lord's Passion. We need this week, not just as a nostalgic observance. We need this week because of what Christ accomplished through it - opening the gates of heaven and giving us hope for life eternal.
