So Many Changes

It was January 2020 and we had heard reports of a virus coming out of China. Since there were no reports of the newly named “coronavirus,” outside of Wuhan, China, the world continued as it always did.

On January 19, 2020, a 35-year-old man visited an urgent care clinic in Snohomish, Washington. He had a four-day cough and subjective fever. He had heard reports of Wuhan, China. Since he had just returned from visiting his family there, he wanted to get checked out. He was in the hospital for the rest of the month.

How has your life changed? Last week, we received word our department would be dissolved due to the Coronavirus. For the first time in seven years, I would have to rewrite my resume.

There will be some of you who will develop a “give-up” mindset; further impacting your health, making you even more susceptible to catching what is causing the “give-up” mindset.

You must reject the “give-up” mindset and focus on only things you can control. This is how the rich live. This is how successful people live.
