Pierz Pioneers vs Foley Falcons Softball 2025

The Pioneers played their first extra-inning game of the year, losing 6-4 in 9 innings to the Falcons in Pierz. Trailing 4-3 going to the bottom of the 7th, Pierz forced extra-innings when Natalie Knutson singled with 2 outs, then Hayden Sam smashed a game-tying triple to score courtesy runner Ava Phillips to make it 4-4. Foley scored the decisive runs in the top of the 9th on an rbi single from Josi Pozorski and another run scored on an error to make it 6-4.
