This podcast is mainly about the Coldwater Creek 50k/ 33.2 mile trail race in Anniston Alabama.  

Good news: I finished

Better news: I finished with a bang and before the cutoff.   It was close.

If you have never stopped by Anniston Alabama, you should.  The people are wonderful and it is a beautiful little town with lots of trails for mountain biking, running and hiking.  There are also lots of rocks.

I have been plant based nearly 25 years.  I eat fruits and vegetable as close to their natural state as possible most of the time.  I do not sell supplement and believe the best way to get nutrients is from the food.  We do need a B12 supplement. I have spoken about the importance of Vitamin D from the sun but the potential need for supplementation.  That said eating a nutrient complete plant based diet takes some focus, and recently I have discovered some deficiencies that could easily be missed.  My practice aims at helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness.  In the next few weeks, I will be diving into some of those details in this podcast.  For my members, we will be doing an extensive, tailored dive into their nutritional needs and how best to achieve them.  If you would like to learn more about our practice, visit the website at
