MEPs to discuss economic fallout from COVID

MEPs will today debate the economic fallout from COVID-19 as a second wave grips Europe.

 

Ireland is about to enter into one of the strictest lockdowns in the EU, with non-essential shops being forced to close.

 

Dealing with unemployment and supporting young people will be the focus of discussions in the European Parliament later.

 

Dublin Green MEP Ciarán Cuffe says funding has already been set aside by the European Commission
