How Holland America Recreated Lost Recipes for Its 150th Anniversary Crossing

Rudi Sodamin, master chef of Holland America Line,  talks with Alan Fine of Insider Travel Report about the historic 150th anniversary crossing of the Rotterdam, commemorating the first Rotterdam ship's crossing from its namesake city in the Netherlands to New York City. As part of the celebration, Sodamin uncovered Holland America menus dating back more than 100 years, and from them, recreated both the look and taste of the recipes that were almost lost to posterity.
