US Close 27 Feb 19 : US shares fade in late trade

The US sharemarket failed to hang onto modest gains, slipping for the first time in three days. Economists were focused on Fed chair Jerome Powell's first testimony before Congress in seven months. Aussie shares are set for a slightly better start on Wednesday.
