Interpretive keys needed for understanding the "covenantal language" of the Bible
1. A covenant is a solemn bond with attendant blessings and curses
2. Scripture reveals an eternal covenant (The Covenant of Redemption) that underlies all of God's redemptive activities. This covenant is between members of the Trinity.
3. As a result of the Covenant of Redemption, there is a covenant made unilaterally between God and His People. (The Covenant of Grace),
4. Jesus is the "Christ" (anointed one) given to satisfy the terms of redemption and grace.
How do the different covenant revealed in Scripture relate to one another?
