Due to scheduling conflicts, this is a rebroadcast from January 14th, 2015. We apologize for any problems.
Today, Father Loya returns after being away for some time and happy to
be here. Also, he is joined by special guest Christopher West from the
Theology of the Body Institute and here to talk about the teachings of
Saint John Paul II. Christina and Tony join him on the air today and
remark that haven't seen Father Loya since last year, 2014, as well as
being very excited today and says hello to those listening in today from
his Parish too. Before he goes into his interview with Christopher
West, Father Loya shares with us much from Christmas, as well as being
in the Christmas season now and with God being the Creator and
Creation. These lead into and are related to the Theology of the Body
and the Language of the Body today, all connected to the interview with
Christopher West. Each are all related to the idea and emotion of love,
not only for God, but the love we are all looking for in terms of
girlfriend/boyfriend and husband/wife, as well as sexuality and desire.
Christopher also illustrates this by using his own experiences as
examples to help this discussion, including using the example of fast
food here relating to desires we have. He points out some very
interesting thoughts for you loyal listeners to think about.
Christopher West also shares information on the COR Project, Latin for
Heart, a project to help people in the journey in desire, as well as the
design for these desires by God in order to reach our destiny, as well
as sharing the Theology of the Body. More examples Christopher uses to
discuss desire here, is Playboy Magazine Publisher Hugh Hefner and
Painter of the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo. For more information on
Christopher West and/or the COR Project visit either: http://www.christopherwest.com and/or http://corproject.com.
