Some 35 years ago a vision became reality in the Sacramento region.  The Sacramento Area League of Associated Muslims (SALAM) mosque began in Sacramento.  It was the dream of Dr. Metwali Amer and his wife, Professor Rosalie Amer.  It has served as a beacon for learning, worship, and social assembly ever since.  Join us this month as we interview Abdul-Qawiy Abdul Karim, the executive director of SALAM in his first year at SALAM.  In this delightful and sacred conversation, we get to know him.
