We chatted about his path from being a military air traffic controller to flying helicopters, what lessons the Army has taught him, transgender military members, and the importance of ending Don't Ask Don't Tell. We also talked about Freedom of Speech and protesters "taking a knee," honor culture in America, and what he hopes his future looks like when he retires from the Army.
