In the fear of deportation, in the angst of a family separated, and in the space of shame, feeling undeserving of support, my beautiful friend (and cousin), Kendra Alvarez shares with us that it's in those very spaces she learned to grow. She teaches us that the darkest places can be used to thrive, when you choose. 

Immigration has and will always be the source of many political arguments. It's our hope that today's episode brings peace and understanding in a way that allows us to unify against the common enemy of fear and toward the common benefit of growth.
