MEP urges people to join ‘conversation’ on Europe – McGuinness

The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness is urging people to get involved in a new citizens’ initiative that’s about shaping the future of Europe. The Midlands North-West MEP was referring to the recent launch of the Future of Europe initiative. Over the next six months the Government will hold a series of public meetings to hear the views of members of the public and representative organisations on Europe. The discussions should feed input into it’s (the Government’s) contribution to the broader future of Europe debate. Mairead McGuinness says it's critical Irish people have a say in shaping Europe's future.
