Three Hindrances and Two Keys to Walk By Faith | 27

I believe that our life is a progressive series of saying "yes" to the Lord. From small ones of just having a positive attitude for the day, to the really big ones that lead to fulfilling a dream. I am specifically going to share three hindrances and then two major keys to walking by faith.

 

Fear is the number one hindrance that will prevent you from surrendering to God’s leading. However, God’s perfect love casts out fear; faith works through love. 

We are all on a journey of learning to trust and follow Jesus. It doesn’t matter how long you have been born again, you will face obstacles and hindrances that will cause you to be stretched — to grow and mature.

 

God has divine appointments and assignments for you! (Jeremiah 29:11)

He desires you to become who He created you to be and fulfill your God-given potential, but we must learn to partner with Him to see it come to pass. God is a relational God.

 

Real faith requires trusting God which is a discovery process that is only found through a personal, intimate relationship with the Lord. It’s not just reading the Bible. Jesus is the Living Word and He wants you to write His Truth on your heart and be led by the Holy Spirit to be Jesus’ representative here on the earth. 

 

I will share some key lessons from Luke 1 and the words and actions of Zechariah and Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
