Episode # 1800 – The Three Tony’s And The History Of Halloween

Father Anthony is back with us after being away for a few weeks, visiting family down in Florida and going to Rochester for his continuing treatments, which are going very well and he is recovering very well.  Tony is here as well, so once again, The Two Tony’s are here with us again LOL.  Today, also the The Three Tony’s are here, with the Feast Day of St. Anthony today, so we have The Three Tony’s today instead, LOL.  But it’s been a while since Father Anthony is back, he was visiting Florida for his nephews wedding and as he points out, had to rush to Rochester for his treatments, and the busy feeling of the day continues today, with much going on today at St. Stans.  One thing Father Anthony wants to talk about is some of the writings related to today’s Feast Day.   Also, with his Halloween Party coming up and Halloween too, Producer Nick comes on the show for a bit and talks about how Halloween and this time of year is his favorite time of year, and shares some of the history behind Halloween.  Producer Nick also talks about how he and his girlfriend Jen are getting ready for his party and also going to other parties too, talking about all the fun.  Afterwards, Tony and Father Anthony continue this on the history of Halloween, talking more on how the times have changed.  With all this in mind, Father Antony isn’t opposed to Halloween, in fact he admits it’s a fun and enjoyable time, especially for kids and also he talks about how special it is in terms of the Church too.  After the first break, because of a very special show coming up in November with Kevin Matthews, Father Anthony and Tony talk about him a bit, but the conversation turns to talking about Pope John Paul the Second and since his Feast Day was over the weekend, Father Anthony and Tony talk about the readings and results of that.  Father Anthony also shares some history on Pope John Paul the Second.
