Wake Up TriCounties Henry Stark Health Dept COVID 19 Update

Henry and Stark County Health Department representative RaeAnn Tucker joined WKEI on Thursday with the latest on COVID-19. Numbers are up slightly in both Henry and Stark County with both Counties considered to be at Medium risk level for transmission of COVID-19. The Health Department is reminding everyone to consider taking precautions such as wearing masks if you are going to be in areas where there are a large number of people and, for those riding the rides at Hog Days this weekend, make sure to have some hand sanitizer before and after your ride to keep you and the next person to ride the ride safe. Next week, we will know more on next round of COVID-19 booster shots aimed at increasing immunity to the newest COVID-19 variants.
