Share (1 Timothy 6:17-19)

Join Pastor Stuart for the fourth sermon in our series, Hospitable.

This week, we turn to the Apostle Paul's first letter to Timothy 6:17-19 to be reminded to . . . "Share".

• One major part of showing hospitality is sharing what we have with others.
• God is pleased when we share with others.
• Sharing with others pleases God because we are reflecting his character.
• Christ, by the Holy Spirit, enables us to share generously and even sacrificially with others as we grow in at least three areas:
  
  • Humility;
  • Hope in God;
  • Gratitude.
• Therefore, we can be encouraged to show hospitality to someone this week by sharing something of ours with them.
• So, by the power of the Spirit in the name of Jesus let’s grow in hospitality as we share generously with others.
