This was first recorded in 1968, with Elliot (of the group Protozoa) singing lead. The song was written, produced, and arranged by Paul Levinson and Ed Fox. It was released on Buddah Records in 1970. Paul Levinson sang lead on the rendition of Looking for Sunsets that appears on Twice Upon a Rhyme (Happysad Record, 1972).
