From shame to shalom

We live in a culture that is saturated with pornography. With just a few statistics, Pastor Phil Kniss highlighted how likely it is that pornography is a part of society that does not spare the church. Using Genesis 1, 26-27, 31, John 8:2-11, and 1 John 4:7-12, 18-21, Pastor Phil highlighted how physical intimacy and sexuality were designed as gifts from God. Humans have twisted this gift, separating physical intimacy from relationship. In our culture today sex is consensual, not covenantal. This has allowed us to objectify others and ourselves. God wants us, his creation, to be so much more than that.
