Colossians 1 pt. 2 Who does the Bible Say that Jesus Is?

Continuation of our verse by verse bible study in the Epistle to the Colossians. There were many schools of thoughts as to who God is in Colossae just as there are today. Paul exhorts the Colossians in this first chapter to examine who the writers of the Hebrew bible say that  God is and the Messiah of God, Jesus the Christ is.
