1. A gripping listlessness or melancholia caused by boredom; depression.  Deeper than that--a desultory, downward sinking feeling.... a giving up or giving in to it.

Many around the world have lost their faith, many giving up and staring at the wall... the oppression of the world is just too much.  Part of the problem of faith is the fact that we accept many things on face value that our hearts and souls are not ready to accept, thus causing a LIE within... this lie can lead to disastrous consequences.  If regarding the Bible story of the VIRGIN BIRTH--if you do not believe it, then DO NOT BELIEVE IT.  If we say we believe it and we really don't, we are dupes for mind control and depression.
