Welcome to the baptismal city

On this annual "Membership Sunday" at Park View Mennonite Church, pastor Phil Kniss continues the series on the practices of Christian worship, this time focusing on the practices of baptism. Phil makes the case that we are baptized into Christ--we take on the identity of being a Christ-follower--but also, and significantly, we are initiated into the body of Christ, a people, a "polis" (city). There is a deep religious, social, and political significance to our baptism.
