Sharif Ali is a proud father of 4, owner of several websites, including www.Tha144000.com (Tha official 144,000 website, underground news from Our perspective, all of Tha 144,000 videos are located on this site) and Learn Moor About Bahia www.mooraboutbahia.com (int’l business, economics, plus tons of info about the country of Brazil, and Afro Brazilian Tours), founder of Black Diamond, an independent label, and an expatriate of the United States that has settled in Bahia, Brazil.

En route to Brazil, while living in Miami, Sharif and his wife Sakkara made a series of videos aimed at raising consciousness/awareness in the black community and the world in general. They were led to name the videos Tha 144,000 (www.myspace.com/tha144000/videos, http://www.youtube.com/tha144000, http://www.tha144000.com/p/tha-144000-videos-view-them-here-for.html).

They packed the videos with as much info as possible and tried to connect the dots as far as who we are as a people, where we come from, and what lies in our immediate future. Many deep topics were touched on but spoken in the language that enabled the message to be embraced by the streets.

Sharif also has a tour company with his wife offering tours exploring the amazing Afro Brazilian culture of Salvador, Bahia in the country of Brazil. Salvador has a 90% black population and is considered the largest black city in the world outside of Nigeria.
