Why bother with people? (Greg @ Field)

The short answer is, 'because God does.' Jacob's Well is not your typical church (understatement), in part because we feel it is our job to do more than take care of the people already here; us. In fact we have this feeling deep down in our guts that the only way to really take care of the people who are here is to be fundamentally about the people who aren't here. Not yet anyway... It's a Jesus thing. It fights our instincts. It makes us worry about whether our needs are going to be met. It's faith.
