Guest: Robert Whitaker Robert Whitaker is a journalist covering medicine and science who has received numerous awards, including the George Polk Award and the National Association of Science’s Writers’ Award. Earlier Robert was a director of publications at Harvard Medical School and was a co-founder of Center Watch, a publishing house covering clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry. For the past dozen years, Robert has been writing on the psychiatric industry. His latest book, which has just been released in paperback – “Anatomy of an Epidemic” takes a hard look at the damage caused by psychiatric drugs and received the Investigative Reporters and Editors award for best investigative journalism in 2010.
