This is the third Sunday of Advent, and Phil’s sermon focused on the joy of Jesus' coming, but gave it an unexpected twist by showing the upside down practice and purpose of Jesus puzzled his followers at the time, and still causes us to wonder at the counter culture aspects of it all.
