Live Life to the Fullest

I know I should be more compassionate, but … Every time I get an email from someone who is suicidal I get rather annoyed. ----more---- Especially when they aren’t dealing with anything major. They just think on balance, life is more bad then good so why not. Look folks, in case you didn’t get this from the fact this podcast is called “Humanist Thought of the Week” I’m a Humanist. That means I’ve chosen to embrace life: the good and the bad. And despite how hard living can be at times, and it can be REALLY hard, I am totally committed to living my life to the fullest. That doesn’t mean I’m going to get a free and easy ride on the back of some pink flying unicorn. It means I’m going to take it all in and embrace it all. The good and the bad! Life is hard and it isn’t fair but it’s still better than the alternative!
