God and Golf

I was wondering the other day if God doesn’t like golfers. I say this because for all the times I’ve committed blasphemy, I’ve never been struck by lightening. People who golf however, do, on occasion, get struck. ----more---- If we are going to judge things people do as good or bad based on what God wants, perhaps we should consider who God strikes down with lightning. Using this metric, it is clear God is not concerned all that much with blasphemers. Golf on the other hand … Sure, it could be a coincidence that golfers tend to be struck by lightning because they are holding metal sticks in their hands during a lightning storm. Or it could be that God just doesn’t like golf. Or, He loves golf but just shanked a shot, got mad and struck an innocent bystander down with lightning.  It can happen. To be safe, I’m going to spend the rest of my day indoors.
