Don’t Buy the Hype

We are now officially in “the holiday season.” And so far there have been riots over video games, waffle irons and other assorted electronics. Get a grip people. ----more---- I realize that times are financially tough and some of the deals offered are really amazing. But at the end of the day, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to have a happy holiday, whatever that holiday is. You don’t need to buy into the hype that buying presents is all the holiday season is about. It is also about spreading peace on earth and goodwill towards all. And I’m pretty sure that rioting over video games isn’t doing much to spread peace. So scale back a bit. Prioritize. And don’t buy into the hype.
