From February, 2011 -- A portion of my interview with VDOT official Stephany Hanshaw on the upcoming expansion project at the Midtown Tunnel and the tolls that will pay for it. For anyone who was surprised this year that the tolls were coming, Hanshaw said 15 months ago, "This is pretty much a go."
