When I was 15, I walked from the kitchen and into the dining room of the restaurant for the first time. Who knew then that a part-time job as a busboy, setting tables and clearing plates would lead to a career in hospitality? Along the way I've encountered thousands of co-workers and hundreds of thousands of guests and expect that each one of them has affected me in ways big and small. Fifteen years ago, I opened the doors of my own restaurant and now I can't help but wonder how this experience has shaped me for the next phase of my life. God has been doing some pretty amazing things all along and in the process I've picked up a few insights that might be worth passing on. Sunday will be my last time preaching as an intern at Jacob's Well so I'd like to invite you into my world for a little while and see what we might discover together. ~Peter
