Fixing our eyes on the unseen

Paul pastored the church at Corinth for a year before he moved on in his travels. After he left, the church struggled and wrote to Paul with questions. In 1 Corinthians, Paul responds with a letter providing instructions on living as followers of Christ in a pagan society. Paul's second letter has a focus on grace and reconciliation. In 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1, Paul writes that the message is not about him, but about Jesus. It is because of Paul's faith in Jesus that he preached the Good News, not for his glorification but for the good of the Corinthians to the glory of God. Pastor Barbara Moyer Lehman encouraged us to develop an attitude of gratitude, in a culture of grace. The Corinthians needed this and so do we. The question which Pastor Barbara wrestled with  was, "How do we develop a culture of grace and gratitude?"
