They were to till the garden and to guard it (Gen. 2:15). They were to serve as both farmer and watchman. They had a calling and that calling was his work. All work has a divine purpose and is a divine calling. Not just work in the church, but all work...all work is holy unto God. Let’s consider what the Scripture teaches us about work, so that we can have a proper view of work, and so that we can fulfill our divine purpose and calling.
