Episode #473 - Our Present State

Father Anthony, Cristina and Tony are on the program today. We take note of G.K. Chesterton's suggestion that we need to "lighten-up" and enjoy life. Father Anthony reflected on the life of the shooting victim in front of the Empire State Building and the reflections of the that victim's pastor as to what societal factors may have been in play that led to the murder's motivation to take a life. Father Anthony commented on the themes expressed in some of the speeches at the RNC and how many of those themes have resonance with this Sunday's gospel.
