International Year of Planet Earth

UNESCO declared 2007-2009 as International Year of Planet Earth. A celebration of the same has been done in the Bangalore University with the guidance of Dr.A.N.Yellappa Reddy, renowned Environmentalist. Agenda like Awareness about Mother Earth, Water Resources and Conservation and protecting Environment have been taken up as a part of the celebration. The Bio-park developed in the campus has been show cased to the Public, Students, IT/BT professionals and Administrators. A Draft Manual has been released and decided to work in this direction.
