Romans 5.12-21-“The Basis of Justification.” Look at v. 9-10: [I]. Adam’s Sin. Let’s go back Genesis 3. [II]. Sin’s Consequences. Verse 15: “By the transgression of the one (Adam) the many died.” Verse 16: “The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation.” Verse 17: “By the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one.” Verse 18: “Through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men.” Verse 19: “Through the one man’s disobedience the many were appointed sinners.”
