To tell the story of lavish love

“Heaven is in love with stories.” These were the opening words of the sermon Jonathan Larson gave this morning. Jonathan wrote a book about Dan Terry, an American Methodist relief worker who was killed in Afghanistan. Jonathan shared some stories of Dan Terry’s work in Afghanistan, where Dan lived out the extravagant love of Christ in Dan’s interactions with the Taliban.
