Paying attention to the right things

We have many things to worry about, Barbara Moyer Lehman, associate pastor at Park View Mennonite Church, Harrisonburg, VA, told her listeners on the subject: "Paying attention to the right things"--death of a friend, loss of a job, disappointment in family members, including our children. But Jesus tells us in Matthew 6, not to worry about these things, even such mundane things as what we will eat, or drink, what we will wear. He pointed to the birds and flowers who are cared for on a daily basis, even flaunting their non-caring with plumage and beautiful blossoms.
