How I came to be in Spokane

I have lived in Spokane since 1996. Before that, I lived in Indiana. That’s where I grew up and went to college and graduate school. I studied for my Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Indiana University. When I graduated, I got a job at Eastern Washington University teaching at the English Language Institute. That’s how I came to Spokane from Indiana.
