’Tis the season

In this season of Advent, what are our desires? This was the question that Pastor Barbara Moyer Lehman asked in her sermon on the first Sunday of Advent. Asking this question of ourselves and answering it honestly can bring clarity for us, bringing congruence to our actions and helping us to resist the pressures of our society where those pressures draw us away from the desires of God.
