12/18/12 DDD The Lord’s Prayer Part 5

Today in David's Daily Devotional, we look at the last part of the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:13. This is still Jesus teaching us how to pray...and to ask God to not let us yield to temptation and to rescue us from the evil one! We all face temptations every day...and the choice is ours to say yes or no to them. When we say yes and land in the mud and mire again, we have to bring that to the Lord and repent...asking forgiveness. David talks to us about saying the Lord's Prayer daily and also reminds us to put on the full armor of God daily. Other scriptural references are: Psalm 40, Romans 3:23 and Ephesians 6:10-18.
